Happy Easter

It took one of the church sisters 33hrs to make this beautiful creation
Today is a glorious day! It is one, if not THE most important day in the life of a Christian and I am so glad to be a Christian. We celebrated the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior! At church today I played the lead role of Mary in the Sunday School puppet show followed by leading the treasure hunt for all of our parishioners and guest; it was extremely cool!

Mary & I (never mind my big ole' cheesy grin)
The day turned turned out to be a long one, service started at 11am and we returned home around 5pm, I am completely exhausted - but elated in the joys of service to The Lord. We were unable to get any pics as a "total family unit" because I was working and I put Darryl to work, too. He said he never knew you could stay at church that long! LOL I told him that's what happens when you're an active member in your church.

Sunday School (check out my mountain range and crosses I made for the puppet show stage)

Sister Rhonda dressed as a clown for the infants

Rah rode a pony!

Rah even shot hoops in the bounce house
 All before the Treasure Hunt

They were lined up and ready...

He found lots of treasure - but not the "He Lives" Gold Coin :(
There was also a water slide

So Rah had his 1st wardrobe change of the day and had a ball!

The kids were piling up for a while

Some, as you can see, in their Easter dresses

What a great day to be a kid of Christ!

And with all this, today is the 13th birthday of my first born!!! Happy Birthday Garrett! I actually have a teenager. So, we sent him a PS3, 3 games, and 2 controllers... he left us a "thank you" voice mail, go figure, darn teenagers!

BTW- Darryl always does my photo shoots. So here is one of him - he coupled his Easter linens with a pop of fuchsia as you can see in his tie and suspenders for flair! HA HA HA

Work it..
Work it..

Work it..lol
