Swann's at the Aquarium
Robert outside of the Ga Aquarium
We have been trying to visit the Georgia Aquarium for years so this year on our trip home for the holidays we finally made a stop! We spent a total of 4 hrs in the largest aquarium in the world, but only was able to view half. we saw tanks that were larger than buildings and walked a conveyor belt (like in airports) to get from one side to the other. We enjoyed an $18/person lunch (gotta help feed the dolphins) and took in some wonderful sight; it is the only aquarium houses whale sharks and the sting rays are huge. We viewed them both while walking through the underwater tunnels - it was really great.
As soon as you enter this is what you see...its sensory overload...
It looks like a screen saver doesn't it?
Rah & I were amazed!
Rah got to pet a sting ray
Darryl also ventured...
Whale shark passing overhead
Sting ray also crossing overhead
This fish is bigger than Darryl
An example of the litter found in our oceans daily
It was a great day, we can't wait to go back and complete the visit sometime soon!
