Da "K" Spot: FBB = Fresh Beat Band

Daddy Swann bought us tickets to a concert. So Rah and I along with his friend Ashton and Ashton's mom Ashley went to see his favorite band live, The Fresh Beat Band. They were playing a sold out concert in Shreveport, LA and its about a 2.5-3 hour drive from DeRidder. Mind you, I just got back from Vegas that Thursday night (around 10pm) drove the 2.5 hours home from Houston where the airport was and went to work on Friday at 7:45am - can you say "jet lag". It took me a full week to recover! But I didn't have a week, only a day because directly after church on Sunday we were on the road to see Twist, Shout, Marina, and Kee Kee!

And the following week - the hubby and I spent a child free week in the Western Caribbean (Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, British West Indies, and Cozumel, Mexico! Stay tuned for that blog, I know I'm a little backed up, but I'm really just catching up with my sleep! We had a blast too, but I digress.

Back to the FBB. So we're all color block coordinated because that the band's style and ready to go. I know all of the songs as well as Rah. We are super excited. They come on Nick, Jr. if you have a little one I'm sure you've been subjected to an episode or two - or season. So after purchasing a $25 FBB commemorative concert T-shirt and a light up lanyard, we're in the concert!

And no photo's/video recording was allowed but hey, I got some anyway - this was my baby's first concert. (Garrett's first concert was Blue's Clues - and I had to console him because he spent the entire time trying to get ON the stage with Blue!) HA

We had floor seats and Rah spent the entire concert dancing in his chair or in the aisle! At one point "Twist" jumped into the crowd and gave all the little ones hugs. And guess what Rah, was right there! I was more excited than he was, I said Rah" Twist, gave you a hug, What happened?". He simply said, "He was sweaty"! LOL
